it would be nice to see the team that will take the ice on October 3 in the final preseason game.

Its shaping up to be that but who knows.

I dont think Reaves is going anywhere.

Could see them moving cole if they got something decent back and Whitney would be willing to sign for the minimum.

I have a feeling Cracknell is going to be the forward put on waivers. I hope he clears.

Unless there is a good return for Cole in a trade, there is no reason to keep Whitney. He hasn't shown enough to make Cole expendable without being blown away.

Was actually 4-1, but between the blind refs and no replay, officially the box score reads 3-1. Was very surprised by the Blues really not showing up. Then again, it is pre-season. Perhaps Yeo's mixing up his forward line combinations during the 2nd and 3rd periods messed with Hitch's game plan against the Wild.

Preseason is pretty worthless when trying to compare teams, game to game. Guys playing games who will be cut or in the minors. Dpairings all hosed up. etc

I seriously doubt coaches game plan against their opponents in the preseason. Its more of watching and evaluating your guys.

Cracknell? After the way that line performed in the playoffs, why on earth would Hitch want to break them up so soon?

They have brought in guys who will be playing on the 4th line. They have already broke them up, even though they are all still on the team. They will not all be on a line together (or playing at all) unless there are some injuries.

Some may think this is a mistake, but I believe they have upgraded, so these guys have proven that they can play and our depth is that much better.

Honestly, we could role 5 NHL lines right now. And a legit 5 lines.
